We designed a turnkey project for a small chicken manure organic fertilizer production line in Indonesia that matched the farm’s daily manure output and annual target of 10 tons of finished granular fertilizer.
The line integrated the following core processes and machinery:
1. Manure Pre-treatment & Composting
Fresh chicken manure is too wet (75–80% moisture) and high in ammonia to granulate directly. We included a small groove-type compost turner (customized 2-meter width) for aerobic fermentation.
2. Crushing & Mixing
Semi-wet material crusher down caked compost and fibrous bulking agents into uniform particles below 3mm. Next, a horizontal double-shaft mixer blended the crushed powder with beneficial microbes to enhance bio-fertilizer value.
3. Granulation – The Heart of the Line
For a 10TPY chicken manure organic fertilizer production line in Indonesia, a disc pan granulator with 1.5-meter diameter proved perfect. Its adjustable inclination and rotation speed allowed the operator to form round, uniform granules ranging from 2–5 mm.
4. Drying, Cooling & Screening
Granules exiting the disc pan still contain about 25% moisture. We installed a small rotary dryer to bring moisture below 14%, then a rotary cooler to reduce temperature and harden granules.
5. Packaging
Finally, a single-bucket automatic packing scale weighed and sealed 25 kg or 50 kg bags.
